Career Coach: Overview

Please track current location of the Career Coach here.

Career Coach is a mobile project made possible through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and is coordinated by the Centre for Education & Training.

The Career Coach mobile unit (RV) travels to various locations throughout Peel and Halton region. We are open to the general public, however we provide settlement information, career counselling and job search services to refugees, internationally trained professionals and other newcomers to Canada. The Coach parks at malls, entertainment centres, recreation centres, libraries, community agencies and special community based events.

Our mandate is to ensure refugees and other newcomers in under-served areas receive access to settlement information and employment related services.

This 37 foot mobile serves as a resource centre. The Coach is equipped with laptop computers, wireless Internet access and printers for writing resumes and cover letters, researching information and accessing career and settlement resources. There is also a small library stocked with books and handouts all of which are settlement and employment related resources. A noticeboard displays the latest job fairs, job postings and services offered in Peel/Halton.

Trained and qualified staff are always onboard to assist you.

Our location, November 11 - November 30, 2016:
Netherwood Plazza
