Career Coach: Overview

Career Coach is a mobile project made possible through Employment Ontario programs and funded in part by the Government of Canada. Career Coach is coordinated by the Centre for Education & Training.

The mobile unit travels to various locations throughout Peel region providing career counseling and job search assistance to youth at risk between the ages of 16-30 and to newcomers to Canada. We will be visiting malls, entertainment centres, recreation centres, libraries, and community agencies and special community based events.

Our mandate is to ensure individuals in under served areas receive access to employment related services. Our office is a 37 foot mobile, equipped with 5 laptop computers loaded with the Microsoft bundle, and connected to a network printer: perfect for writing résumés and cover letters. Our mobile computer lab is also connected to the Internet via satellite.
