Our Mission

To provide a clean, safe, comfortable family environment for your stay in Canada.

What is Homestay?

Homestay means living with a Canadian family who will welcome you and make you feel comfortable for the time you're in their home. You may choose from a number of families who have extensive experience hosting guests from all over the world. The Centre for Education & Training carefully screens and selects suitable Homestay families.

Homestay families provide:

• a friendly, comfortable, safe home environment
• opportunities to practice English
• a private bedroom
• 3 meals a day
• access to the family television, computer and laundry facilities

Homestay student requirements:

• an intermediate level of English competency
• a completed Homestay application form submitted in advance to ensure the best available match
• notification of any serious medical conditions/allergies
• agreement to obey all house rules and conditions as outlined by the Homestay Program
