Refund Policy

The Centre for Education & Training is committed to client satisfaction. We believe that the following refund policy to be as fair as possible.

  1. If the request for a Study Permit is denied by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the total tuition fees paid are refunded less a $500.00 administration fee. To obtain a refund the student must provide:
    • The original Letter of Rejection from Citizenship and Immigration Canada
    • The original letter of acceptance from the Centre for Education & Training
    • The original receipt of paid tuition fees

  2. A fee of $750.00 is charged if the student has not applied for a Study Permit and has withdrawn the application prior to the commencement of school. To obtain a refund the student must provide:
    • The original letter of acceptance from the Centre for Education & Training
    • The original receipt of paid tuition fees

  3. There will be no refund of the tuition fees after a Study Permit has been granted using the Centre for Education & Training official letter of acceptance if the student chooses to withdraw for any reason.
  4. There will be no refund after commencement of studies.
  5. There will be no refund of tuition fees if the student is found in violation of school regulations and has been withdrawn from school as a result.
  6. There will be no refund of tuition fees if the student changes immigration status during the year. Students who become permanent residents of Canada after school fees are paid will not be entitled for a refund.

Health Insurance Refund Policy

If your policy was never used, the remaining health insurance fees will be returned following the waiting period required by StudentGuard, minus a $50.00 CAD Administration Fee. As the Centre for Education & Training believes that it is important for students to have medical coverage while in Canada, learners are not required to withdraw from the plan and may continue to use their StudentGuard coverage for which they have paid, regardless of withdrawing from our programs.

Please allow 3 weeks processing time for any refunds. This policy is subject to change.
