The Centre for Education & Training offers intensive test preparation
courses for adult and young adult learners planning to take TOEFL, IELTS, or
TOEIC tests either in Canada or upon return to their home countries. The Centre
for Education & Training is an official TOEIC Public Testing Centre
. However, course
fees do not include testing fees or test-date registration. Taking any of
our language study courses enable learners to improve upon language proficiency
benchmarks achieved through taking the Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment
(CLBA).
Note: All courses run with a minimum of 5 learners enrolled.
There is a maximum of 15 learners in a class.
Test Preparation Courses (CLBA, TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS)
Taking any of our language study courses enable learners to improve
upon program entry benchmarks achieved through CLBA testing. The Centre
for Education & Training also offers preparation courses for other
standardized tests such as TOEFL, TOEIC and IELTS.
TOEIC measures the ability of non-native English-speaking people to use everyday English skills of working in an international environment.
TOEIC Preparation Course
The Centre for Education &Training offers an intensive part-time 3 week preparation for participants at Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels of English.
The course focuses on the main thematic areas covered in the TOEIC test – General Business themes such as: Marketing, Shipping, Finance, Management, Product Development, Travel, Technology, Corporate Development, Personnel, Entertainment, Health, Offices, and Technical Areas. Included in the course are regular practice tests.
Our course curriculum will allow you to:
- understand the test structure
- have confidence in taking the test
- develop test strategies
- improve your test outcome
- improve your Business English and General English proficiency
- reach the TOEIC score you are aiming for
The TOEIC Public Test
TOEIC Public Tests are open to the public and are offered monthly as per the dates listed below.
Registrations must be submitted before 4:00 p.m. on the registration deadline date.

How much does the test cost?
How do I register for the TOEIC Public Test?

Register with a credit card by phone by calling 905-949-0049 or 1-800-668.1179 ext. 1252, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Register in person at 190 Robert Speck Pkwy Mississauga, On L4Z 3K3
Please note that there are no refunds or transfers after registration.
Important information about the test day
-
You must bring a passport or Canadian driver's license to take the test. You will not be admitted to the testing room without this identification. No other types of identification will be accepted.

You cannot bring a coat, backpack, pencil case or any other materials into the testing room. We will provide a separate room where you can leave your personal belongings. Please leave at home any belongings that you do not need for the test.

We will provide you with a pencil with eraser to complete the test. You cannot bring your own pencil or eraser into the testing room.

You will not be permitted to put any personal materials on the table in the testing room.

Arrive early! Be sure to check the time that the test starts. Your admission ticket, that will be mailed to you if you register on-line, will specify how early you need to arrive at the test site. At some sites, the doors are locked ten minutes before the test starts. You will not be admitted if you are late so be sure to get to the test site early.
