REFUND POLICY
Most schools do not issue refunds to fee-paying students wishing to leave programs/courses prematurely. However, Centre for Education & Training is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of its international learners. This commitment to client satisfaction has led to the following refund policy, which we believe to be as fair as possible.
| REASON FOR REFUND | MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL |
|---|---|
If the request for a Study Permit is denied by Citizenship & Immigration Canada. Applicants must: |
The total tuition fees paid are refunded less a $500.00 administration fee |
If the student has not applied for a Study Permit and has withdrawn the application prior to the commencement of school. To obtain a refund the student must provide: |
The total tuition fees paid are refunded less a $750.00 administration fee |
Withdrawal from Centre for Education & Training after commencing classes |
No refund will be given following the commencement of studies for the duration of the program in which the learner is registered for. |
- There will be no refund of the tuition fees after a Study Permit has been granted using the Centre for Education & Training official letter of acceptance if the student chooses to withdraw for any reason.
- There will be no refund after commencement of studies.
- There will be no refund of tuition fees if the student is found in violation of school regulations and has been withdrawn from school as a result.
- There will be no refund of tuition fees if the student changes immigration status during the year. Students who become permanent residents of Canada after school fees are paid will not be entitled for a refund.
Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for the refund to be issued.
Health Insurance Refund Policy
In the event you must cancel your policy and it was never used, the remaining health insurance fees will be returned following the waiting period required by StudentGuard, minus a $50.00 CAD Administration Fee. As the Centre for Education & Training believes that it is important for students to have medical coverage while in Canada, learners are not required to withdraw from the plan and may continue to use their Student Guard coverage for which they have paid, regardless of withdrawing from our programs.
